SUPER BOWL SQUARES – OFFICIAL RULES

OVERVIEW

This grid follows the traditional Super Bowl Squares format. Participants purchase one or more squares on a 10×10 grid for a chance to win based on the score at the end of each quarter.  Squares filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Once all the squares have been selected, numbers will be randomly generated from 0-9 for each team in the Super Bowl, and assigned to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. In other words, if the score is AFC 17 - NFC 14, then the winning square is the one with an AFC number of 7, and an NFC number of 4.

Since this is a Fund Raiser, 50% of the proceeds will go to the York Hockey Club-Girls Team, and the other 50% will be distributed among the players with a Winning Square.

NUMBER ASSIGNMENT

• Team numbers (0–9) are randomly assigned to the grid after all squares are filled.

• This ensures fairness and prevents any participant from choosing squares based on numbers.

SCORING & WINNERS

• Winners are determined by the last digit of each team’s score at the end of:

  • 1st Quarter

  • 2nd Quarter (Halftime)

  • 3rd Quarter

  • Final Score

• Each quarter is scored independently.

• Overtime (if played) counts toward the final score only.
