Super Bowl Squares – Official Rules

Overview

Participants will select and pay for one or more squares from the 10x10 grid (each square costs $20).  Once all the squares have been selected, we will randomly pick numbers from 0-9 for each team in the Super Bowl, and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. In other words, if the score is Patriots 17 - Seahawks 14, then the winning square is the one with a Patriots number of 7, and a Seahawks number of 4.

Since this is a Fund Raiser, 50% of the proceeds will go to JoCo Baseball, and the other 50% will be distributed among participants with a Winning Square.  Proceeds will help pay for team dues, tournament entry fees, and travel costs and will help support a successful summer baseball season!

Grid Format

• The grid consists of 100 squares (10×10).

• Each square represents a unique combination of the last digit (0–9) of each team’s score.

• Squares are filled on a first-come, first-served basis unless otherwise stated.

Number Assignment

• Team numbers (0–9) are randomly assigned to the grid after all squares are filled.

• This ensures fairness and prevents any participant from choosing squares based on numbers.

Scoring & Winners

• Winners are determined by the last digit of each team’s score at the end of:

  • 1st Quarter

  • 2nd Quarter (Halftime)

  • 3rd Quarter

  • Final Score

• Each quarter is scored independently.

• Overtime (if played) counts toward the final score only.

Payouts

• 50% of total funds collected will be donated to JOCO Baseball.

• The remaining 50% is paid out to winners

• Example payout structure:

• 1st Quarter: $125

• 2nd Quarter: $250

• 3rd Quarter: $125

• Final Score: $500

Payment option 1 - Venmo JoCo Super Bowl Square Admin (Kevin Ferguson) $20 per square purchased.

Payment option 2 - Tell JoCo player how many squares you would like to buy, pay JoCo player directly, then JoCo player will Venmo Super Bowl Square Admin (Kevin Ferguson) with payments.  $20 per square purchased.

Important: You must include the name of JOCO player purchased from in "Referral" field and "square numbers" purchased in Venmo "What's this for" field to help match up payments!
