Theta Tau at UMD Super Bowl Pool 2020
How to Play
The numbers for the football POOL will be selected when the grid is filled.
How it works:
Once all the squares have been selected, we will randomly pick numbers from 0-9 for each team in the Super Bowl, and assign that number to a particular row or column. These numbers represent the last number in the score of each team. In other words, if the score is Chiefs 17 - 49ers 14, then the winning square is the one with a Chiefs number of 7, and a 49ers number of 4.
Each square is $20. If we sell all 100 squares, then we will raise $2,000. Since this is a fundraiser, 50% of the proceeds will go to the Together We Rise (https://www.togetherwerise.org/) charity on behalf of the Eta Delta Chapter of Theta Tau at the University of Maryland, and the other 50% will be distributed among the Users with the Winning Squares. Together We Rise is an incredible non-profit organization that improves the lives of 250 foster kids EVERY day, who often find themselves forgotten and neglected by the public. - End of 1st Quarter: 12.5%
- End of 2nd Quarter: 12.5%
- End of 3rd Quarter: 12.5%
- End of Game: 12.5%
- Payout to Charity: 50%
